Every day we have to make decisions
Every day we have to make decisions. A study shows that we make around thirty-three thousand decisions a day.
We make decisions at work, at home, in our personal lives, when driving, and when we shop at the supermarket. Nobody escapes from making decisions. Good or bad, but we make them.
The truth is that we constantly make decisions, so much so that we only pay attention when the decisions involve money, the rest of the decisions can wait.
But no doubt about it, there is a decision that will transform the rest of your life.
In the book of John, in chapter 5, a man appears disabled by his sins. He had been in this condition for thirty-eight years. His disability was so great that his best efforts were of no use. That man lived hoping to be able to submerge in a pool at a specific time to receive a miracle, but the years passed without him being able to achieve it.
One day, Jesus approached him and asked: Do you want to be healed?
To which the incapacitated man responded by saying: I have no one to put me in the pool while the water is agitated and when I try to do so, someone else gets in first... Jesus said to him: Get up, pick up your stretcher, and walk - and Instantly that man was healed, so he took his stretcher and started walking….
In other words, When Jesus appears in your life, he wants to make it new. He knows your life, he knows what your sins are, he knows what’s keeping you where you are, and he knows what you are constantly battling within your mind and heart. The key is to open up your heart... Open up your heart to him so that he may heal you…………….. In reality, that’s what the man in the story did.
Dear reader, we don't know if we have thirty-eight more years to live, we don't even know if we will be alive in the next five minutes. We do know that Jesus is willing to immediately save you from your inability to do so.
What will be your answer to the question?
Do you want to be healed?
